Radio Seagull on air: Tony Christian
Tony first entered into the world of entertainment over 25 years ago taking his own mobile disco all over the UK, then progressed to residencies in nightclubs as a Compare and DJ. Radio was soon in his sights and he then got involved with a local hospital radio station and after a short while presented his first radio show. Following that he managed to get a show on Radio Thamesmead filling in on various shows, and before long was presenting the Breakfast Show. Soon after that the London land based Pirate Radio scene was in full swing in the eighties and after making some contacts within the inner circle found himself working on the Breakfast Show on JFM Radio, then LWR and Skyline Radio until sadly the government closed all the Pirate Radio stations down for good. From then on he moved to RTM FM and Music Power Radio in Ireland for a while then spread his wings and moved out to Italy to work on Radio Sovereign International. With his feet firmly on the radio ladder, his next port of call was to be Ramsgate Harbour, where he was taken out to sea on a small tender to work on the Ross Revenge, the home of the world famous Radio Caroline anchored 23 miles out in the North Sea.

Some years later Tony resumed his radio career with Radio Caroline from the land based Maidstone Studio's  from where the station broadcast until recently. Tony has also worked on the Dutch Cable Network of Radio Caroline in Holland, WBCQ in the USA, Vibe FM in Ireland, Radio Samantha, Millenium FM and Red Sands Radio which broadcast from the Forts just off the Kent coast in the UK.

Tony says, "It's good to be back working on real radio with Radio Seagull. I hope to bring with me some of that peace love and understanding in a positive way. Spread the word."
